Athletic Director & Junior High Head Coach
Pam returns to Genesis in her third year as Athletic Director and Junior High Head Coach. She delights in the game as a former player and brings five years of coaching experience to the court. Pam is dedicated to skills training and desires to serve the players and their families through an exciting and smoothly run season. A graduate of Ball State University, Pam worked in Corporate America before coming home to raise her children and homeschool. She has been married to Paul for 33 years and they have five children and four grandchildren. They are members of College Park Church where they have been involved in teaching apologetics and discipling young people. Her family enjoys the outdoors, as they have many years of hiking and camping under their belt.
Director of Spiritual Growth
Rick has been married to Kristi Brown for 20 years. He has two daughters: Elizabeth (19) and Faith (16). He is new to Indy Genesis. He has been in the ministry for over 20 years, and he is currently serving as senior pastor at Putnamville Baptist Church. He is on the board at Seedline International for the past 5 years. He desires to see young people to use their talents and abilities for the glory of God. He participated in high school wrestling, baseball, and football. He loves to golf, spend time with his family, friends, and church.
Director of Community
Laura is married to James. They have two children: Jacob (19) a senior, and Jacquelyn (17) a sophomore. James and Laura live in Jamestown. Laura has served in different capacities for the Crawfordsville and Brownsburg homeschool groups. As Director of Community, Laura would like to help facilitate relationships between players, the teams, families and communities. If she had spare time, she would like to read.
Christine is married to Chris and the mother to three girls, Hannah (21) and husband Luke, Grace (19), and Sarah (15). Christine has been around volleyball and basketball for many years. She has fulfilled a variety of roles on her daughters' teams throughout the years. Currently, Christine has the privilege to stay at home and homeschool Sarah. She graduated from Case Western Reserve University with a degree in accounting and throughout the years has worked outside the home in several roles as both a CPA and business owner. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, playing cards, needlework, and sewing
Kristi has been married to Rick Brown for 20 years. She has 2 daughters: Elizabeth (19) and Faith (16). Kristi is a pastor’s wife and nurse practitioner. She is new to Indy Genesis family. She has been in charge of several women’s and church ministries as well as is the church secretary for the past 20 years. She played volleyball in high school. She wants to help others to follow after Christ. She loves to invest in young people’s lives because they are our future. She enjoys being outdoors, reading, and crafts such as quilting.
Varsity Head Coach
When he’s not working as the Communications Director at Stones Crossing Church, you can usually find him on a volleyball court. As a homeschool graduate, Dalton Cox headed to Anderson University where he graduated in 2015 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems. While there, he chartered a men’s volleyball club where he played, coached, and trained in the game. He continues to pursue the sport in a number of recreational leagues and tournaments. Having played all positions on the court, Dalton favors setting as he loves knowing he gave his hitter a perfect ball for the kill. He is thrilled to be returning for his second year coaching with Genesis.
JV Head Coach
Chris Lorimor picked up volleyball at the age of 20 and has played in many leagues and tournaments through the years. He is new to the Genesis family and brings six years coaching experience to the court. He has been married to Christine for 24 years and they have been blessed with three girls. Hannah is 21 and still a newlywed with Luke Meier. Grace is a sophomore at IUS in New Albany. Sarah is 15 and entering her sophomore year and first year with SEEK. Chris has served in Speech and Debate as well as LOGIC for the past five years. He has been active at Lakeview Church of Christ for the past 20 years. He works as an Engineering Team Leader at Cummins. He played basketball, baseball and golf in high school, and played four years of golf at Case Western Reserve University.
Elementary Head Coach (Blue Team)
Nickole Huffman is passionate about the game of volleyball and continues to learn as much as she can. She currently plays competitively on two leagues as a setter and enjoys the camaraderie and fellowship they bring to her life. Nickole studied Child Development specializing in at-risk youth and families at Purdue University. She is a former juvenile probation officer and loves to pour into the lives of kids. She has been married to Greg for 19 years and they have two children. Nickole has served on the Executive Board at Genesis and both of her kids play sports for us. She has a heart for Uganda as she serves on the Board for the African Hospitality Institute. Returning for her second year as Head Coach , Nickole is fired up to be training our youngest team again!
Elementary Head Coach (White Team)
Alyssa played basketball for six years in grade school. After graduating, she started playing volleyball and now enjoys playing in competitive adult leagues. Alyssa loves giving back to the homeschool community through providing childcare for local co-ops, coaching, teaching children's art and sewing classes, or just being a positive role model for young girls. Alyssa is an artist, small business owner, and Jesus follower. She displays her artwork in galleries around Indiana, and sells handmade jewelry and gifts with her sisters through their business Joyful Creations. This is Alyssa’s second year on the Genesis coaching staff.
Lindsay has enjoyed volleyball since 3rd grade and played club, high school and JV volleyball at Olivet Nazarene University. She graduated in 2019 with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy and works for OrthoIndy. Lindsay's favorite thing about volleyball is winning a big point after working hard as a team and chasing after a ball to get it back in the court. She looks forward to helping Indy Genesis with specific skills like serving and hitting along with improving the team's strength and conditioning for optimal performance and injury prevention. Outside of volleyball, she enjoys running, hiking, traveling, and hanging out with her husband and family.
Jamie recently married Michael this past summer. She has been around the sport of volleyball for many years, playing both club and school volleyball in high school as an outside hitter and defense specialist (DS). She then played four years of collegiate volleyball at the University of Indianapolis as a DS, graduating with a degree in Exercise Science in 2016. Jamie received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from UIndy in 2019, and currently works in Greenwood. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, playing in various volleyball leagues and traveling.
Renee Enz has been playing volleyball since middle school. She played for Olivet University as a varsity setter and graduated in 2016 with a degree in Biology. While at Olivet she also coached club volleyball. Renee attended graduate school at the University of Indianapolis where she received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2019. She works at Franciscan Health in Mooresville. Renee is getting married to Tyler Crater in July and they are very excited to be starting their life together. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking, playing volleyball, and going to professional sporting events.
