The Indiana Track and Field State Championships and the Indiana Track & Field Day are open to all homeschool athletes and athletes in non-IHSAA schools. Individuals do not have to belong to a track team to compete. Thus, kids who enjoy running and want to be a part of a larger event with many homeschool kids and non-IHSAA kids can participate. Below are the details:
Ages: Elementary & Middle School will compete in Track & Field Day; High School will compete in Track & Field State Championships. Races are by division - 8 and under (8U), 11U, 14U, and 18U
When: Saturday, May15th; Track & Field Day for 8U, 11U, 14U is 11am - 3pm; State Championships for 18U is 4pm - 7pm
Where: Clark Pleasant Middle School Track, 1354 East Worthsville Road, Greenwood, IN 46143
Cost: $10 per athlete
Awards: Awards will be given to top finishers in each event along with team awards
8U & 11U Events: 100M, 400M, 800M, Long Jump
14U & 18U Events: 100M, 200M, 400M, 800M, 1600M, 3200M, 4x100M, 4x200M, 4x400M, 4x800M, Long Jump, High Jump, Discus, Shot Put
