Mary Miller

Director

Mary is married to Jason and they have 5 children:  Griffin (23) + Micayla (bride pictured), James (22), Nolan (21), Isaac (20) and Sadie (10).  “Nana” Miller is also pictured. This is their first year to homeschool and to participate with Indy Genesis.  Mary has been an elementary school teacher for 25 years and has volunteered on many related committees.   She was the Cub Master for several years for her sons’ troop.  Currently, she volunteers with the children’s ministry at her church on a variety of events throughout the year.  Mary played several team sports growing up.  She enjoys hiking, biking, rollerblading and spending time with family doing most anything outside.

AssistantAthletic Director

Erin Edwards

Erin Edwards and her husband, Brad, have three children: Berkley (12), Xavier (10), and Anastasia (7).  Though Erin never excelled at sports like basketball (too short!) or diving (too graceless!), she developed a fondness for long distance running. This led her to become interested in health and physical activity, and so she became a health coach. Eventually, Erin replaced health coaching others with homeschooling her children. Thus, when a PE-shaped gap arose, she was happy to help fill it. She hopes that a love of PE with a larger group of kids will translate to a love of physical activity and healthier lives in these children. Besides running, Erin also enjoys spending time with her family and working on their small Homestead.
