Tom Nelson

Varsity Head Coach

Tom is married to Amy and has six children (5 boys & 1 girl). They have been a part of Genesis since the very beginning as one of the original founding families. Five of their children have participated in soccer over the years. Tom is self-employed as a contractor specializing in woodworking and home improvement. He enjoys golfing with his sons & and working on projects in his shop at home.

Bradley Smith

Athletic Director

Bradley Smith is a proud husband to Christen and father to Lucas and Casey. He is passionate about family, faith, youth sports, and giving back to his community. Bradley previously served as President of the Center Grove Basketball Youth League, helping lead an organization serving more than 800 young athletes. He is also a certified high school basketball referee and enjoys creating positive experiences for kids through youth athletics. In his spare time, Bradley enjoys staying active, golfing, hiking, spending time outdoors, and making memories with family and friends.

Michael McBride

Director of Spiritual Growth

Mike and Mandy McBride recently moved to Greenwood from San Diego, CA.  Mike is a pastor and church planter with the Presbyterian Church in America.  Prior to that he was a management consultant with Accenture.  Mandy is a marriage and family counselor by training who has spent the last 12 years focused teaching their four kids – Olivia, Joseph, Greta and Henry – and being a utility player in the work of planting churches.  Mike and Mandy have coached and helped coach youth sports for years.  Rock climbing, gardening, classic literature, and live Shakespeare are among their favorite things.

Brad Engler

Treasurer

Brad is married to Andrea and they have four children.  Alex (Blake & Theo) Rice, Scott (Ashley) Engler, Abigail and Ethan.  Brad has been an assistant coach and board member with the Indianapolis Homeschool Wildcats for the past couple of years. Brad will be assisting the golf program as treasurer.  His philosophy is to ensure that no program loses money and that there are funds remaining to get the next year started off in a good place financially. In his spare time Brad enjoys playing golf and helping Abigail with the family’s three dogs and their adventures at dog shows.

Danny Hightsue

Secretary

Danny and his wife Rachel have been married for 24 years.  He is the Vice President of Horizon Freight Lines.  They have two children, Elijah and Isaiah.  Their family has been homeschooling for ten years.  Danny has previously served on the Executive Board for Indianapolis Homeschool Wildcats.  He and his family are involved in Special Olympics where his son Elijah is an athlete.  In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf with his sons and going for walks with his wife.  He also enjoys serving coffee at his church.
